Kyoto Fushimi [Tsubakido]
The mint green tea is a product of Tsubakido in Fushimi, Kyoto.
Founded in 1879 by the first tea master, Sokichi Tsubakiya (Takemura), as a tea shop in Okameya, Fukakusa.
Tsubakido also serves as a purveyor to Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Tofuku-ji Temple. Its appeal lies in its wide range of products, from high-quality matcha made exclusively from Uji tea leaves to its highly-regarded hojicha "Fushimi," praised as "delicious no matter who brews it."
