What is Hisakaki?
Hisakaki (Hime-sakaki)
Hisakaki is said to have originated from the name "Hime-sakaki" (Princess Sakaki) because it is one size smaller than Hon-sakaki (true sakaki). In regions north of Kanto, many people generally offer Hisakaki.
