A Small Mother's Day Story
One day in my 30s, I suddenly returned to my hometown.
My mother, who greeted me at the entrance, looked a little smaller from behind.
The mother in my memories was always cheerful, always busy, and always supportive of me.
My mother, whom I hadn't seen in a while, smiled as usual and happily said, "You're home?"
But I felt the passage of time somewhere within myself.
When I handed her the bouquet I brought as a souvenir from my visit, she hugged it tightly to her chest, as if it were very precious.
With a slightly embarrassed look, my mother said,
