The day I felt "thank you" wasn't enough 《be full —Unexpected joys.》 vol.1
Our Thoughts on &YOUKAEN's 2026 Mother's Day Flower Gifts
Noticing a small change
It was during the recent New Year holidays, when I went back to my parents' house.
Suddenly, I felt like my mother's body had become a size smaller.
Even when I spoke to my sister, who lives nearby and visits home frequently,
she didn't seem to quite grasp it,
but to my eyes, her back was definitely smaller than it had been six months ago.
"How many more times will I be able to see Mom?"
That anxiety suddenly sprouted in my heart.
Sometimes when I call her, she talks about her hospital visits,
but generally, she always sounds cheerful and seems to be living her days energetically.
And at the end of every call, she always
expresses concern for my work and family.
After hanging up, I always thought,
"I'm glad she's doing well."
To my embarrassment, I had thought that calling her regularly and visiting every six months
was enough filial piety.
Why "Thank you" is no longer enough
When I was a student, my mother would say,
"It's your hard-earned allowance, so spend it on yourself,"
and never told me what she wanted.
Even after I became an adult and started earning my own money, perhaps due to shyness,
"Maybe something delicious?"
"Just coming home is enough."
Taking her words literally,
every year, I would visit her with a small gift.
Slightly more expensive tea than usual.
Hand cream.
Baked goods.
Small gifts given with the words, "Thank you always."
Of course, she was happy,
but if you asked me if it really suited her,
I felt it wasn't quite right.
Seeing my mother's slightly smaller back, I started to wonder.
What kind of gift would truly make her happy?
What could I give her that would make her genuinely smile?
I decided to search for the best gift I, as a daughter, could give.
That's what I thought.
What "be full" means

The 2026 Mother's Day project
began with that small personal experience.
"I want to deliver joy that slightly exceeds my mother's expectations."
This project was proposed internally to give shape to that desire.
We believe that
the act of giving flowers is a special one, a little different from other gifts.
Flowers are natural.
And they are living things.
Their beautiful time may not last long.
But in return,
they transform everyday scenery into something special in an instant.
If my mother's joy could be seen like a gauge,
I want to deliver enough joy to fill that needle to overflowing.
To fill my mother's heart completely through flowers.
That is &YOUKAEN's 2026 Mother's Day theme:
"be full."
This Mother's Day, with gentle pink and orange

This Mother's Day,
we focused on warm tones of pink and orange to gently fill mothers' hearts.
The soft hues are like the love we received from our mothers.
We aimed for a color scheme and design where the inherent beauty of the flowers and greenery naturally stands out,
without being overly flashy.
Carnations, the symbol of Mother's Day.
And roses and dahlias, highly popular among women.
To these, we add
seasonal greenery and small flowers, in &YOUKAEN's style.
Soft tones that blend seamlessly into any space when displayed.
Yet, they also convey freshness and splendor.
That's the lineup we've created.
Previously, I had the opportunity to speak directly with a regular customer.
At that time,
I heard her say, "My mother carefully keeps the arrangement's container even after the flowers are gone."
Those words made me very happy,
so this year, all our arrangements are unified in stylish containers with handles,
which can be displayed as is.
Even after the flowers are gone, they can be used as small storage or
displayed as decoration.
We hope you can enjoy them a little longer in your daily life.
I'll tell you more about the products another time.
For both givers and receivers to "be full"

Mother's Day is
"a day to express gratitude to mothers."
But more than that,
it's also a day when unexpected joy blossoms through flowers.
For both those who give,
and those who receive.
May it be a day when both hearts
are filled.
