When you receive a bouquet, the wrapping is the first thing that catches your eye, along with the flowers. At &YOUKAEN, we believe that the wrapping is just as important as the bouquet itself.

If a bouquet conveys your feelings the moment it's received, then the wrapping gently embraces those feelings, delivering them in an even more beautiful way.

With this in mind, we carefully select our wrapping materials.

Commitment to materials and textures

We covered the two types of bouquets for this year's "Good Couple's Day" in detail in the previous article. This time, we'd like to share our commitment to the wrapping that envelops these two bouquets.

Our primary focus was on material selection.

To convey a sense of "specialness" at first glance, we chose tracing paper with a textured surface. While tracing paper is rarely used for regular bouquets due to the effort involved in wrapping and its tendency to wrinkle, we opted for this material because we wanted to preserve the exciting feeling of seeing the "Wabara" roses through it.

The accompanying ribbon is made of velvet in bordeaux.

The product planning team unanimously decided that a red ribbon was essential as a symbol of connecting lovers. However, satin felt too opulent, and cotton a bit too casual. To strike a balance, velvet was chosen as the material.

*Velvet is a napped fabric made from cotton using the same manufacturing method as silk velvet. While velvet is made from silk, velvet made from cotton has a more natural warmth.

Pure white and deep bordeaux. We believe this color combination achieves the perfect balance for "Good Couple's Day."

Approach to color combinations and schemes

Wrapping is important not only for its meaning but also for its ability to enhance the bouquet.

Pure white tracing paper wraps the pale-toned "Wabara" roses, complemented by a thin bordeaux velvet ribbon. Translucent white with a touch of bordeaux.

At first glance, it might seem like a red and white combination, but by carefully adjusting the color distribution, we've created a refined and gentle impression while maintaining a sense of specialness.

Bonus: A small touch that creates an unforgettable moment upon arrival

This year's "Good Couple's Day" bouquet actually has a small surprise hidden within. The product names are prefaced with the words "Thank you always" and "I love you always."

These words are also printed on the delivery slip. This creates an anticipation where the "feelings" are already conveyed even before the box is opened.
