In fact, this was a feeling of unease that I had always experienced.
I wanted to give sunflowers as a seasonal flower to someone important to me.
But for some reason, the image felt off, and it didn't quite sit right.
That small feeling of unease bothered me so much that I would stop choosing sunflowers—
I had that experience.
It was encountering the mahogany-colored sunflower "Darjeeling" that felt like a light shining on me, who had been a "lost sunflower seeker."

Wrapping was something we were particularly meticulous about during product development.

What we arrived at was
"mahogany-colored wax paper."

Not just any wax paper would do.
To find a material with just the right amount of stiffness and a luxurious texture, we consulted our paper suppliers and compared dozens of samples by hand—
Finally, we found the paper we use today.
We also agonized over the ribbon until the very end.
Black leather-look cord was our initial choice, but when we tried it with the bouquet, the combination of the smooth sheen of the wax paper and the texture of the ivory suede ribbon was outstanding.
We were convinced it would create a moment of emotion the instant the box was opened, and that led to our final decision.
