[Ornamental Plant] Overview of Kokedama Bat Orchid
I planted a bat orchid in a "moss ball" made by rolling moss.
You can hang it from the ceiling and enjoy it as a hanging interior, or you can display it on a plate filled with shallow water. Enjoy as you like.
[How to manage ornamental plants: Part 1] How to grow and place bat orchids
Bat orchids are native to tropical regions such as Africa.
For this reason, bat orchids prefer sunlight, and if they are kept in a shaded area that is not exposed to sunlight, the color of the leaves may turn yellow.
However, it is sensitive to direct sunlight, and if exposed to strong summer sunlight for a long time, the leaves may burn.
Basically, it can be grown both indoors and outdoors. When growing as a houseplant, it is important to grow it in a place with a temperature of 10 degrees or higher. If the temperature is above 5 degrees, it can survive the winter.
[How to manage houseplants: Part 2] How to water bat orchids
Summer: Bat orchids are plants that prefer hot and humid environments. Therefore, water when the soil surface and sphagnum moss is dry.
Winter: In winter, you don't need to water as much as in other seasons. If you grow it a little dry, it will become resistant to cold.
Please note that the color and type of flowers may differ from the images, as we use only the freshest and best quality flowers available at the time of order.
