Enjoy the Season with a Fall "Pampas Grass" Bouquet of 10 Stems from the Florist
Pampas grass is essential for the Mid-Autumn Festival (Tsukimi) season. Just by decorating with it, the autumn atmosphere is enhanced.
Our florists carefully select and bundle pampas grass from the Setagaya market and deliver it to you. During the season when the night sky's moon is beautiful, why not decorate with pampas grass and pray for a year of good health?
When are Jugoya and Tsukimi? The best time to enjoy pampas grass.
The Mid-Autumn Festival (Tsukimi) in 2025 will be on Monday, October 6, 2025. Also known as Jugoya, Tsukimi, or Chushu no Meigetsu, it is the day when the most beautiful moon of the year can be seen. It is also a day to appreciate the autumn harvest while viewing the beautiful moon.
The Origin of Decorating with "Pampas Grass"
It is said that during the Mid-Autumn Festival, it was still too early to harvest rice ears, so pampas grass was offered instead.
It was also considered a yorishiro (dwelling place) for the moon god to descend, and its sharp cut was believed to ward off evil.
The flower meanings of pampas grass are "mutual understanding," "vitality," and "energy."
Please note that the color and type of flowers may differ from the images, as we use only the freshest and best quality flowers available at the time of order.
